Just!! A heads up
I should be able to start drawing again next week, but don't be confused if your piece isn't completed immediately!! 
Because the surgery was in the palm of my hand and into my wrist I need to kind of learn how to use it in that motion again so the first few things I do will just be more for practice and then I'll get around to what I owe ;v;
I also really want to take a different toll on my style because I've never liked it so I want to try and develop into something new with personal or gift art rather than owed art [[since it might not look like what you wanted and it'd be kind of disappointing possibly??]]
So yeah ;v;!! I might be a little slow still but i'll definitely get things done for you guys <33

Okay so i'm assuming it's fairly obvious that I have medical issues often, so i'm making this the official journal for that.

Hello guys! My surgery recovery is going fairly quickly fairly well and the medication i'm taking is making the pain very easy to handle at this point. My cast should be off within a week or two. It may take a little while longer to be able to draw again but so far it seems like the surgery took care of the issue. It turns out that the reason I had carpal so young was because of thick tendons in my hands rather than something I did to cause it, which means I may need surgeries all my life. But, as of now, things are healing considerably and I should be back drawing in a few weeks time ;v;. I will be more active now, but I won't be posting anything except premade pieces. I'll update you all again when my left wrist is healed <3 Thank you for the concern!

Update: This is songbirdss friend speaking! She'd just like to inform you that the surgery went well but she's in a lot of pain so she may be absent for a day or two longer until the pain eases up a little and typing becomes possible. According to the doctor, the cause of her problem was actually a birth defect so hopefully the surgery does its job and helps her. She'll update you herself on whether a surgery on her right hand will occur or not- ink-bite

 Now most, if not all of you, already saw the journal where I explained I'll be having surgery next Thursday, so, in a weeks time. 
I had plan to draw as much as possible until then because I'd be unable to do any work at all for anywhere between a week to a month. Sadly, this is not going to happen due to a certain incident and I will be beginning my posting hiatus as of now.

Basically, what happened was for the past three nights, every time I drew something my hand constantly seized up and caused incredible amounts of pain. This morning when I went to draw something, my entire hand got extremely painful, more so than it had in the past, tingled, and then went completely numb and I was unable to use it for a few hours. 

My mom called the doctor and they've told me that I can't use my hands anymore than I need to. This means little to no drawing, and voice-to-text for things such as this journal.

I apologize deeply to anyone who was hoping something would be done in the next week of free time, but my hands have gotten far worse than anticipated and I'm no longer allowed to use them anymore than necessary.

I might be able to draw something, but most likely posts will be postponed for anywhere from a few weeks to a month. I'll see you when I'm better <3
